The Cabernet Sauvignon blend from Napa Valley intertwines the distinctive terroirs of Coombsville, Oak Knoll District, Oakville, and St. Helena. Since the first release, it has been a showcase of the vintage. On the nose is a bouquet of blackberry and cassis from layers of ripe black cherry and dark baking spice aromas. The palate reveals layers of black and red fruits, with a touch of sweetness and hints of baking spices and French oak. This wine is a bit softer from the 2021 vintage and is very approachable and drinking well already.
DownloadThis wine is a blend of our six Bordeaux-style vineyards. We focus the fruit selection from four AVA designations in Napa Valley; Coombsville, Oak Knoll District, Oakville, and Saint Helena. The 2021 vintage is one for collectors. Before bottling, the wine aged 18 months in 60% new French oak. A classic Napa Valley concentration and density for a Cabernet Sauvignon. There is a dark tone, unlike in 2019, which was a bit softer and sweeter. 2021 is more structured, similar to 2016, with great integrated acidity reminiscent of the 2018 vintage.
Aromatics are expressive with notes of dark chocolate, licorice, crème de cassis, and hints of warm spices. The palate is full-bodied and juicy. Black and red fruit layered front to back with pronounced tannins and excellent acidity carrying it to a long finish. The wine is powerful yet elegant without being heavy.
This vintage is a harmonious representation of balance between four vineyards. All are farmed exclusively by our partners at Silverado Farming Company. We craft the wine to capture the season, and this 2021 embodies our intentions.
Enjoy it now and over the next 15+ years.

All grapes are harvested from vineyards farm by our team at Silverado Farming Company or owned by us. This wine represents a glance of what we love about Napa Valley. Fresh fruit profile from a cooler vineyard blended with more muscular dark fruit coming from St. Helena. 60% new oak, aged for 18 months.

DownloadSince 2016, our Sauvignon Blanc has come from a unique site in St. Helena, AVA. We dry farm the vineyards organically. The spring was cooler than average but had consistent sunshine through the summer. The warm months of July and early August gave us golden clusters and a lot of concentration in flavors while preserving vibrant acidity. With classic aromas of citrus zest, hints of elderflower, and stone fruit. The barrel aging on lees gave the wine a great texture and layers, still driven by beautiful acidity. It is silky, with a great long finish and tension
DownloadSauvignon Blanc has consistently been our first harvest of the year.
It is a dry-farmed site. In 2021 we picked the grapes during the 3rd week of August after a warm and dry growing season. Berry clusters were a bit smaller, providing a deep concentration of flavors while keeping an excellent acidity profile.
The aromatics are expressive layers of lemon and lime with secondary notes of tropical passion fruit and lychee. Slightly more textured than 2020, with mid-palate weight. The wine has subtle exotic flavors, loaded with orange peel and citrus. Acidity is the backbone, carried from front to back, creating a long finish. On the back palate is a hint of structure and French oak.
A showcase of the site in a warmer vintage, being more opulent without losing the freshness and balance; the wine is very approachable and will evolve over the next few years.

One of the fresher Sauvignon Blancs produced since we began in 2016. We picked early in the morning on August 14th. The fruit was pressed whole cluster to a settling tank and from there to barrels. 25% of the grapes were placed
into new French oak and the balance into standard and cigar shaped barrels.
It remains our classic Sauvignon Blanc of mineral aromas, crushed rock, with lemon notes on the nose. Acid on the palate carries the wine through mid-range with citrus zest, lime, and tropical notes. Oak barrels add dynamic tension, structure, and texture. The finish is vibrant and bright with distinctive herbal flavors. The acidity is intense yet pleasant and enjoyable now. This Sauvignon Blanc style will age nicely and we recommend serving at cellar temperature.

This fruit remains consistent year after year, yielding from dry farmed old vines within the Saint Helena AVA. After a wet winter and moderate weather through spring, August was quite warm which created unique conditions for low sugar and high acid in the berries. The skins were bright, and juice was showing well. The grapes were harvested on August 20th and they were pressed whole cluster and into barrels for the traditional cold fermentation and aging process.
Extremely expressive, balanced and fresh. Beautiful notes of citrus zest, and clementine with a delicate lychee and white peaches. The wine has vibrant acidity with tension and weight on the palate. A long finish lingers with mixed tropical fruit, hints of lemon zest, and a touch of French oak.
DownloadFrom an old vine site in St. Helena, farmed organically by Silverado Farming Company. The dry-farming process produces fruit with excellent balance and intensity. Grapes were picked at first light during a cold foggy morning.
We pressed whole clusters slowly to extract the free run juice without breaking the stems. The juice settled in tank for 24 hours prior to being transferred to 35% new French oak and 50% cigar shape barrels to cold ferment for 6-8 weeks, then aged for 19 months with very little intervention, racking only once prior to bottling.
Expressive nose with bursts of citrus, lemon zest, white cherry blossom, white peach, jasmine, and lychee. The palate is crisp with vibrant acidity. This wine has nuances of minerality complemented with intensive white fruit flavors. The acid balances the palate and leaves layers of texture.
DownloadThe 2017 Napa Valley Sauvignon Blanc is 100% Sauvignon Blanc sourced from St. Helena old vines. The dry-farmed vines produce fruit with excellent balance. We whole cluster pressed the berries and allowed the juice to settle in tank for 24 hours prior to being transferred to French oak barrels to cold ferment (40% new oak, 50% cigar shape barrels) for 5-6 weeks in the cellar. The wine was then aged in barrel for 19 months with very little intervention and was only racked one time prior to bottling.
High in acid, fresh and crisp, the nose expresses notes of lemon zest, lime, citrus, peaches and a hint of passion fruit. In the mouth, the wine is textural with great mid-palate weight, a hint of sweetness from the lees contact and well-integrated oak. A long lingering finish with an excellent natural acidity and layers of flavor round out this stellar wine.
DownloadThe goal for me making this wine was to develop my own style, this is a lower alcohol Sauvignon Blanc (12ish) with a lot of texture. Whole cluster pressing into Barrels, around 30% new oak. Most of the barrels are cigar shape for more lees contact, we used 2 different yeasts that can help with creating different components. The wine was aged for 20 months on lees with no racking, stirred every week in the beginning then slowed down with mixing. The idea was to develop weight and texture without alcohol or heat.
This wine is very varietal with notes of lemon zest, citrus and hint of oak. In the mouth the wine is super fresh with high acid and rich mid pallet, crisp lemon tart and hint of sweet oak, in the finish sharp and clean finish with tons of flavors.
